Head colds, web sites and Super Heroes

Last week I had a head cold that kept me away from my drawing board. I am trying to get enough work together to fill a 10'x10' booth for a show that's coming up way too fast for my slow painting process!! I'm sure it's this stress that made me susceptible to the bug that got me. I was very frustrated but, my drippy nose was just not going to allow me to lean over a drawing table. And my head was in a fog. If you have ever had a cold, I'm sure you know what I'm referring to. If you have never had a cold, please email me with your secret.

Anyway, I have wanted to build a website for years. I purchased several books on the subject. I think they were written in Greek. They were certainly scribed in some language completely foreign to me! The books were shelved and have only been removed late at night by four curious felines who are apparently much smarter than I am.

I have been receiving the Fine Art Views newsletter for a long time. I have entertained thoughts of starting a FASO website for an even longer period of time. But I've looked at my books and, no matter how simple the super heroes at FASO claimed it was going to be, this artist knows her limitations. My daughter even had to start up my Facebook site for me! This is where my head cold comes into play. My head was in such a fog, I forgot I couldn't build a website! I grabbed a box of soft tissues and sat in front of my computer. I would like to say, "I took a deep breath", but that wasn't even possible. I just coddled my drippy nose and followed directions. It was fun! It was easy! And I found myself playing with all the fun gadgets! I'm still playing with them and finding my way around. My only real question is, WHY did I wait so long??

Many, many thanks to the folks at FASO for building a site that would allow a computer illiterate like myself to custom build a beautiful website!! You are indeed, Super Heroes.
